Free-spirited, UK based artist Ben Allen is most well known for his controversial pop paintings and large-scale wall murals. Using a ‘collage’ style of unlikely juxtapositions, the dynamic paintings are complex mash-ups of popular culture that critique the day-to-day, the dull and mundane, challenge the media’s view on sexuality and inspire a sense of freedom.
Ben’s art graces the walls of big names such as Jade Jagger, Stephen Dorff, Sophie Ellis Bexter and Richard Branson and he also has art displays in Selfridges and a 40ft artwork dominating the Notting Hill headquarters of Virgin.
Inspired by underground surfing and skateboard street scenes, Ben’s art manages to capture the elusive zeitgeist and has attracted clients including Vans, Levis, Converse, Virgin, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen and the Amy Winehouse Foundation. BEN ALLEN WEBSITE
