Graham’s love for illustration began at a very young age when he began copying Garfield comics perfectly by hand (and, unaware of copyright laws, selling them in the school playground!). Then he headed from his home town of Gloucester to London’s Central St.Martins via Brighton University to study Illustration, before launching a very successful career as a commercial Illustrator with award winning campaigns for and Bupa.
In 2007 Graham began screen-printing again and discovered an entirely new illustration style and way of working, and after exhibiting for the first time at Brighton Art Fair and being picked up by a few galleries Graham fast became one of the UK’s best loved and most collected printmakers.

Over the last ten years Graham has produced several critically acclaimed solo shows, been part of some extraordinary collective shows, and found time to build a giant yeti puppet for his 2012 exhibition ‘Me,Marionette’! In 2008 Graham founded Boxbird Gallery with his wife Alice, and he still works from their studio space in Brighton where he can often be found getting messy with inks and printing new work.
